The Chicago White Sox have released Manager Ozzie Guillen from his current contract with the team. The White Sox made the move after a request for an extension was denied by Kenny Williams. It is no secret that Kenny Williams and Ozzie Guillen did not have the best relationship and would ultimately lead to this decision:

Good ‘Ol Switcheroo

The Baltimore Ravens signed Ricky Williams to a 2 year $2.5 million dollar contract yesterday. He will switch off with Ray Rice in the backfield and allow the Ravens offense to keep clicking when Rice is not on the field. Williams looks to join the 10,000 yard rushing club with 435 yards left to run:

Suns Burn Up New Jersey In OT

The new look New Jersey Nets had everything in check last night. With the debut of their new point guard, Deron Williams, the Nets were able to hang with the Phoenix Suns the entire game until 6.6 seconds in overtime. That’s when Channing Frye stepped up and knocked down a 3 to give the Suns the final lead at 104-103:

Jazz Tune Up In 4th

The Utah Jazz have been making 4^th quarter comebacks all year long and last night was no different. The Jazz came back from a 19 point deficit against the Los Angeles Lakers to win 102-96. Kobe Bryant’s scored 31 in the loss:

Wade Turns It On In Game 4

Dwayne Wade ran all over the Boston Celtics by scoring 46 and was able to extend the series for the Miami Heat to one more game in Boston. LeBron James took care of business against the Chicago Bulls by putting up 37 pts 12 rebounds and 11 assists for his 5^th playoff career triple double and giving the Cleveland Cavaliers a 3-1 series lead. George Hill and the Spurs were just to much for the Mavericks to handle as they came back from a 14 pt deficit and now lead the series 3-1. Carlos Boozer owned the lower block scoring 31 pts and tearing down 13 rebounds as the Jazz take a 3-1 series lead

Miami Finds Out That The Truth Hurts

The San Antonio Spurs took care of business on their home court with Tim Duncan (25 pts) dominating the post and Tony Parker (23 pts) supplying relief from the perimeter. Utah Jazz took a 2-1 series lead thank in part to 2 double double efforts by Deron Williams’ (24 pts & 10 boards) and Paul Millsap (22 pts & 19 boards).

LeBron’s 4th Quarter Pulls Cavs Away From Bulls

LeBron James was nothing short of spectacular in the final 4 minutes of the 4^th quarter against the Chicago Bulls, scoring 11 straight points and providing the separation the Cavs would need to go up 2-0. The Utah Jazz evened their series with Denver thanks largely to Deron William’s 33 points and 14 assists.
