SHOWTIME IN LA

The NBA All-Star game had a little bit of everything last night. Yes there was even some defense, Kevin Garnett had a nice block in the 4th quarter. The West was able to hold off the East as they made a late run and brought the game to within 4 points. Kobe Bryant was named MVP for a record 4th time in the 148-143 victory:

The Miami Heat got a much needed boost from their big 3 in the 110-103 victory over the Indiana Pacers. The Heat were up by as many as 24 but the Pacers were able to take a 3rd quarter lead and looked as though they would be able to pull out the victory. The Big 3 came out on fire in the 4th quarter for Miami and that was all there was to it:

Celtics Withstand Heat

The Boston Celtics might be playing with a depleted bench but they got the most out of their players yesterday afternoon when they needed it the most. The Celtics held off a late 4th quarter run by the Miami Heat that would take Boston’s 13 point lead all the way down to 3. Glen Davis was able to hit a pair of free throws for the Celtics that would ultimately seal the deal. With a last second shot, Mike Miller of the Miami Heat could not sink the wide open 3 to extend the game:

The Cleveland Cavaliers have the monkey off their backs after finally being on the winning side of the ball after 26 games. The Cavaliers would have to go into overtime in order to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 126-119:

Lonely Is The Night

by bren on February 1st, 2011 | No Comments »

The Cleveland Cavaliers made another visit with their former “King” LeBron James. This contest ended the same way 20 others have in a terrible defeat. This latest loss to the Heat put the Cavaliers a few games shy of the NBA record for consecutive losses. I hope they get a win soon because there is nothing exciting about breaking that record:
