Hawks Feast On Wizards

The Atlanta Hawks returned to the form they had earlier this season by downing the Wizards 116-96. Josh Smith has 20 points, 14 rebounds & 5 assists in the victory for the Hawks. Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon came alive for the Clippers as they both contributed 25 + points in the victory over the Sacramento Kings:

Rose Is Thorn In Houston’s Side

The Chicago Bulls defeated the Houston Rockets 95-92 for their 4^th straight victory. Derrick Rose lead the way down the stretch scoring 17 points in the 4^th quarter after sitting all of the 3^rd quarter with foul trouble, Rose would finished with 33 points and 7 assists:

The Orlando Magic were in total control from start to finish and the Orlando Magic took game 1 by an impressive 43 points. The Lakers and Jazz played a tight but the Lakers 4^th quarter push gave them the edge for a 2-0 series lead.

Despite 17 blocks and great defense the Oklahoma City Thunder could not fend off Kobe Bryant (39 pts) and the Los Angeles Lakers.
