The Little Leaguers from Abington claimed the section 2 Little League Championship this past weekend. The win over Barnstable National moves Abington into the state final four. Games will be played at 4 pm on Thursday, the 30th, at Harry Ball Field in Beverly1. Abington will face Worcester in the first game of a double elimination tournament. The winner of this Tournament will represent Massachusetts in the Eastern Regional Tournament in Bristol, Conn2. I am sure Massachusetts will be well supported but of course I’ll wish my home town good luck.
