The second half of the NBA Season is underway and the Boston Celtics came out ready for action. The Celtics were lead by Kevin Garnett (24 pts, 12 rebounds & 6 assists) and Rajon Rondo (19 pts, 6 rebound & 15 assists) who were each close to a triple double. The Celtics wound up beating the Golden State Warriors 115-93:
Blake Griffin won the Dunk Contest last night in style as he jumped over a car. I personally thought JaVale McGee had an overall better performance in all of the rounds but hey the fans wanted Blake and they got him:
In the Rookies vs Sophomores game, John Wall was undoubtedly the MVP as he scored 12 points and put on a show with his 22 assists:
The Miami Heat got a much needed boost from their big 3 in the 110-103 victory over the Indiana Pacers. The Heat were up by as many as 24 but the Pacers were able to take a 3rd quarter lead and looked as though they would be able to pull out the victory. The Big 3 came out on fire in the 4th quarter for Miami and that was all there was to it:
The Charlotte Bobcats continued their domination over the Los Angeles Lakers by handing them 109-89 loss. You would think the Lakers would be the ones to dish out the punishment but lead by Gerald Wallace (20 points, 11 rebounds), the Bobcats won their 8th game in 10 contests with the Lakers. Yeah, I know:
