With the debut of their new point guard, Deron Williams, the Nets were able to hang with the Phoenix Suns the entire game until 6.6 seconds in overtime. That’s when Channing Frye stepped up and knocked down a 3 to give the Suns the final lead at 104-103:

Howard scored 40 points at will and also grabbed 15 rebounds. The Thunder are awaiting the arrival of Kendrick Perkins who they recently traded for before the deadline:
