- The Atlanta Braves made a move to bolster their lineup1 and fill in some holes for their postseason run by acquiring Derek Lee and cash from the Chicago Cubs.
- The Mets and Astros went 14 innings2 last night as the game was decided on a sacrifice fly scoring Jose Reyes. Reyes was moved into scoring position with a sacrifice bunt and then he stole third base.
