The Charlotte Bobcats continued their domination over the Los Angeles Lakers by handing them 109-89 loss. You would think the Lakers would be the ones to dish out the punishment but lead by Gerald Wallace (20 points, 11 rebounds), the Bobcats won their 8th game in 10 contests with the Lakers. The Boston Celtics might be playing with a depleted bench but they got the most out of their players yesterday afternoon when they needed it the most. The Celtics held off a late 4th quarter run by the Miami Heat that would take Boston’s 13 point lead all the way down to 3. Glen Davis was able to hit a pair of free throws for the Celtics that would ultimately seal the deal. With a last second shot, Mike Miller of the Miami Heat could not sink the wide open 3 to extend the game:

Ray Allen enjoyed the spotlight in Boston last night as he broke Reggi Miller’s 3 point record by hitting number 2,561 on a fast break in the first half. A true testament to longevity and hard work through the course of his career. Ray Allen was able to hit more three’s with 3 less seasons than Miller, so who knows where this record will stop. The Lakers would go on to win the game 92-86:
