Milwaukee takes it to Atlanta again and evens their series at 2 games a piece. Phoenix Suns pulled away from the Portland Trail Blazers in the second half to take a 3-2 series lead.

Dirk Nowitzki did his best to make sure the Mavericks notched a game 1 victory by pouring in 36 points and 7 rebounds. The Portland Trail Blazers survive the game 1 trip to the desert and upset the Phoenix Suns.
