The Phoenix Suns sported their Los Suns jersey’s in support of their Latino fan base and they surely did not disappoint. It was a close game throughout but the Suns bench proved to be better on this night and helped give the Suns a 2-0 series lead.

Spurs and Suns Advance To Second Round

The San Antonio Spurs were just to much for the Dallas Mavericks as Manu Ginobili and George Hill each scored 20+ pts in the series clinching game for San Antonio. Phoenix Suns’ Jason Richardson (28 pts) and Amare Stoudemire (22 pts) ruined the home court advantage for the Portland Trail Blazers and won the series 4-2.

Wade Turns It On In Game 4

Dwayne Wade ran all over the Boston Celtics by scoring 46 and was able to extend the series for the Miami Heat to one more game in Boston. LeBron James took care of business against the Chicago Bulls by putting up 37 pts 12 rebounds and 11 assists for his 5th playoff career triple double and giving the Cleveland Cavaliers a 3-1 series lead. George Hill and the Spurs were just to much for the Mavericks to handle as they came back from a 14 pt deficit and now lead the series 3-1. Carlos Boozer owned the lower block scoring 31 pts and tearing down 13 rebounds as the Jazz take a 3-1 series lead

Toronto Pulls Within Striking Distance of Chicago

Toronto moves to within a half game of Chicago with their win over Detroit. San Antonio moves up a spot to the No. 7 seed for the playoffs with a win over the Timberwolves. The Portlant Trail Blazers may be without Brandon Roy for the playoffs but Marcus Camby made sure Portland won on the home court by pouring in 30 points1:

Nelson Ties Wilkens On All-Time Victories List

Boston’s Ray Allen was on fire from distance and scored a season high 33 points  fend off King James and Cavaliers. The Lakers will remember the Alamo as San Antonio wins on the road and clinches a playoff berth as well. Warriors get a “golden” victory as Chris Bosh can’t connect on a last second shot for the Raptors. The Warriors victory puts Don Nelson along side Lenny Wilkens atop the coaches all time wins list1:
