The Cavaliers did make a run and brought the game to within 4 points in the 4th but Boston kept making runs when it mattered the most and that was the difference maker. LeBron James recorded his 6th playoff triple double (27 points with 10 assists, and 19 rebounds) in the loss.

Round 1 Kicks Off For The NBA Playoffs
by bren on April 18th, 2010 | No Comments »LeBron James lead the way for the Cavaliers, what else is new, by scoring 24 pts and Cleveland takes game 1 over Chicago. The Atlanta Hawks used a total team effort with all 5 starters scoring in double figures in the game 1 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics and Heat had an old fashioned brouhaha and the Celtics would come out on top to gain the early advantage in the series. Carmelo Anthony lead Denver over the Jazz with a playoff high 42 points and the Nuggets lead 1-0 in the series.

by bren on April 14th, 2010 | No Comments »Chicago was able to get a much needed win at home and now have a 1 game advantage for that coveted 8th spot over Toronto heading into the final game of the regular season. Utah wins over Golden State and helps their chances of getting a higher seeding for the playoffs. The Denver Nuggets had dreams of taking home a Divisional crown but the Phoenix Suns had other ideas as Stoudemire (29 pts, 8 boards) and Nash (18pts, 10 assists) are to much to handle for Denver.
