Rondo Shows Up Heat

Dwayne Wade tried his best to take Rajon Rondo out of the game 3 in the 3rd quarter with an “excuse me” take down. If you did not see it when they replayed it 8 times, Rondo ended up dislocating his elbow on the play. With his arm hanging off and making the best of the 1 good arm he had, Rondo returned to the lineup to score a few baskets and make sure the Celtics buried the Miami Heat. Kevin Garnett lead the way for Boston playing a huge role offensively with 28 points and 18 rebounds in the 97-81 home victory:

Savvy Vets

The Boston Celtics went up 2-0 in their series with the New York Knicks after relying on the play of Kevin Garnett down the stretch. Garnett was able to put the Celtics up 1 after hitting a difficult turn around hook. On the defensive end, KG was able to come up with a loose ball and call timeout to ensure the Celtics victory. Delonte West was fouled with .6 seconds on the clock and he nailed him both to secure the 3 point win:

Bulls Seeing Red

Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls are so close to the No.1 seed they can taste it or see it better yet. With the Celtics in town, the Bulls were able to take care of business as they dismantled the Celtics for a 97-81 victory. Derrick Rose had 30 points and 8 assists as he continued to carried his team into that No. 1 spot:

Celtics Take Center Stage

The Boston Celtics defeated the New York Knicks 96-86 by shooting 50% in the 4th quarter and turning up the defense a few notches. The win also put the Celtics in a tie with the Chicago Bulls for the best record in the East:

SHOWTIME IN LA

The NBA All-Star game had a little bit of everything last night. Yes there was even some defense, Kevin Garnett had a nice block in the 4th quarter. The West was able to hold off the East as they made a late run and brought the game to within 4 points. Kobe Bryant was named MVP for a record 4th time in the 148-143 victory:
