The Boston Celtics defeated the New York Knicks 96-86 by shooting 50% in the 4th quarter and turning up the defense a few notches. The win also put the Celtics in a tie with the Chicago Bulls for the best record in the East:

With the debut of their new point guard, Deron Williams, the Nets were able to hang with the Phoenix Suns the entire game until 6.6 seconds in overtime. That’s when Channing Frye stepped up and knocked down a 3 to give the Suns the final lead at 104-103:
