Sorry this is not Julius Irving I am talking about here, although Cleveland probably hopes he could be. Kyrie Irving from Duke, was the first overall selection in this years NBA Draft. Like most of the NBA’s #1 picks we’ll have to wait to see how this pans out. After the way he played in the NCAA tournament this year though, I have a feeling he will be well deserving of the #1 pick:
The Cleveland Cavaliers blew out the Miami Heat 102-90 and all LeBron James could do was record a triple double (27 points, 10 rebounds & 12 assists). The Cavaliers managed keep the game at a distance despite blowing a 23 point lead:
The Cleveland Cavaliers made another visit with their former “King” LeBron James. This contest ended the same way 20 others have in a terrible defeat. This latest loss to the Heat put the Cavaliers a few games shy of the NBA record for consecutive losses. I hope they get a win soon because there is nothing exciting about breaking that record:
The Los Angeles Lakers handed out a beating last night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The final score of 112-57 just makes you embarrassed to read it never mind be on the loosing end of it. 55 points is the third largest margin of victory in the Lakers history:
The Dallas Mavericks beat the Golden State Warriors for their 10th consecutive win. There isn’t a court these guys can’t play on home or away during this stretch. Dirk Nowitzki lead the way with 25 points and Jason Terry also added 20 points:
