Carmelo Anthony is still in Denver and he’s playing as if those trade talks never happened. He scored 36 points in the 121-107 victory over the Indiana Pacers last night:
LeBron James was nothing short of spectacular in the final 4 minutes of the 4th quarter against the Chicago Bulls, scoring 11 straight points and providing the separation the Cavs would need to go up 2-0. The Utah Jazz evened their series with Denver thanks largely to Deron William’s 33 points and 14 assists.

LeBron James lead the way for the Cavaliers, what else is new, by scoring 24 pts and Cleveland takes game 1 over Chicago. The Atlanta Hawks used a total team effort with all 5 starters scoring in double figures in the game 1 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics and Heat had an old fashioned brouhaha and the Celtics would come out on top to gain the early advantage in the series. Carmelo Anthony lead Denver over the Jazz with a playoff high 42 points and the Nuggets lead 1-0 in the series.

Chicago was able to get a much needed win at home and now have a 1 game advantage for that coveted 8th spot over Toronto heading into the final game of the regular season. Utah wins over Golden State and helps their chances of getting a higher seeding for the playoffs. The Denver Nuggets had dreams of taking home a Divisional crown but the Phoenix Suns had other ideas as Stoudemire (29 pts, 8 boards) and Nash (18pts, 10 assists) are to much to handle for Denver.
