- With the Cubs and White Sox finishing their Interleague series it was one for the ages1. Both Ted Lilly and Gavin Floyd had rumbles of a no hitter. Floyd’s was broken up the 7th with a Alfonso Soriano double and Ted Lilly had his intact in the 9th until Juan Pierre hit a lead off single.
- Royals pitcher Zack Greinke broke his current 4 game slide with a 12 strike out performance2 against the Cincinnati Reds.
- Troy Glaus put the Braves on his back as he hit 2 home runs3, 4 RBI, and 4 hits, tying a career high.

Here’s The Rundown:
- The Houston Astro’s Carlos Lee has been getting into the swing of things lately. After yesterdays game winning hit, he decided to have a repeat performance. This time he hit a 2 out grand slam1 in the 10th inning to put the ‘Stros up 6-2 over Colorado.
- Gerardo Parra of the Diamondbacks, took advantage of the miscommunication between the Braves outfielders Nate McLouth and Jason Heyward and was able to record an inside the park home run2.
- The Indains Justin Masterson may have had a tough season but he came out with his best stuff against his former team, the Boston Red Sox. He gave up no runs and 2 hits in a 9 inning shutout performance3.

- Mike Leake became the first Reds pitcher to remain undefeated1 after his first 11 starts after allowing 7 hits and 1 run over 7 innings against the Washington Nationals.
- Arizona’s newly acquired Dontrelle Willis made quite a debut2 throwing 6 shutout innings and allowing just 5 hits as the Diamondbacks won 4-3 over Colorado.
- The Atlanta Braves Brian McCann made a huge impact3 in the 7th with a 2 run double as part of a 7 run inning. McCann would also add 2 more RBI’s in the 8th as the Braves won 9-3 over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

- The Atlanta Braves are rolling on all cylinders as they extended their win streak1 to 9 games. Troy Glaus homered to give him his 4th in 5 games.
- The Mariner’s Felix Hernandez got back into winning form2 as he allowed 1 run over 8 innings and Seattle beat the Twins 4-1.
- The Red Sox out hit the Oakland Athletics 18-14 but were unable to overcome Oakland’s power3. The Athletics hit 4 home runs with 2 coming off the bat of Kurt Suzuki.

Here’s The Rundown:
- The Atlanta Braves overcame a 9-3 deficit1 in the 9th inning to beat the Reds 10-9. Brooks Conrad hit a pinch hit grand slam to put the Braves on top and walk off with a victory.
- The Milwaukee Brewers had quite the monkey on their backs as they were loosers of 9 straight2 contests heading into last nights game. The Brew Crew faced an early 3 run deficit and came back to score 4 runs in 3 innings.
- The Ranger’s Nelson Cruz picked quite a night for his first 4 hit game of his career. The Orioles pounded out 15 hits and the Rangers pounded out 20 hits in the 13-7 slugfest3.
