Tom Brady of the New England Patriots was named the AP Player of the Year. After the Patriots traded away their primary deep threat in Randy Moss, many thought the offense would take a hit, no pun intended. Brady took control of the offense throwing 355 passes without an interception. Making his touchdown to interception ratio 36-4:
