Originating from the mind of Abner Doublday in Cooperstown, N.Y. in 1839, baseball has been around for more than 150 years. Baseball has since been revered as the “National Pastime” in the United States and has been played around the globe.
“A National Association of Professional Baseball Players was formed in 1871 and became the National League of Professional Baseball Clubs in 1876″.
