• Ubaldo Jimenez had another great outing for the Rockies but his scoreless streak was snapped¹ at 33 innings, which is still a franchise record. Jimenez pitched 6 innings giving up 6 hits and 2 earned runs in the 3-2 victory.
• Many Parra of the Brewers pitched 51/3 innings striking out 10 batters² and helped the Brewers snap a 3 game skid.
• The Baltimore Orioles snapped a 10 game skid³ thanks to Nick Markakis who had recently been slumping, but who hasn’t when your loosing 10 games in a row. Markakis hit a blooping single in the 11th and scored Cesar Izturis fom second base.
