The <a href="http://5150.rawlings.com/index.php">5150</a> series is different than most aluminum bats because of the different type of materials used during manufacturing. The bat my team at Cardinal Spellman High School used was the <a href="http://5150.rawlings.com/alloy.php">Alloy 5150</a>. I liked the bat because of how the weight was distributed to the barrel more as apposed to the handle. This gives it a top heavy feel but makes it lighter to swing when compared to other aluminum bats. It also has a great sound and you can really rip the ball if you get that sweet spot. Only thing bad I heard about it was that it vibrated a lot more than the other bats if you hit the ball off the tip of the bat. </p>
