  • The San Fransisco Giants payed Barry Zito a boat load of money and he’s now living up to the billing1. Zito dazzled into the 8th and was able to record his 5th victory of the season and remained unbeaten.
  • Cincinnati’s Orlando Cabrera led off the bottom of the 10th inning and sent one down the line2 that would hit off the foul pole and give the Reds another extra innings victory.
  • Tampa Bay Ray’s starter Matt Garza improved to 5-1 and became the first AL Pitcher3 to win 5 games this season.

LOS SUNS MUEY BEUNO

The Phoenix Suns sported their Los Suns jersey’s in support of their Latino fan base and they surely did not disappoint. It was a close game throughout but the Suns bench proved to be better on this night and helped give the Suns a 2-0 series lead.

J.J. Serves Up Hardy Meal To Tigers

Here’s The Rundown:

  • J.J. Hardy of Minnesota saved a run and then scored a run1 in the 9th inning as the Twins won over Detroit 4-3.
  • Philadelphia’s Carlos Ruiz gave Philly Fans something to cheer about other than another Fan running onto the field2. Ruiz lead off the bottom half of the 10th inning with a solo blast to put the Phillies on top of the Cards 2-1.
  • The Diamondbacks only needed one run3 to support Ian Kennedy and Justin Upton provided it for them in the 3rd inning.

Hawks Under Magic Spell

The Orlando Magic were in total control from start to finish and the Orlando Magic took game 1 by an impressive 43 points. The Lakers and Jazz played a tight but the Lakers 4th quarter push gave them the edge for a 2-0 series lead.
