The MLB’s trade deadline has come and gone so after all the ink who really won out this year?

• I hate to say it but you add Lance Berkman to your team as a DH and sure up the bullpen with Kerry Wood your in pretty good shape. The Yankees were the biggest winners with those additions to really make the lineup the toughest in the league.

• The Texas Rangers made a lot of different pieces come together as they acquired Cliff Lee, Jorge Cantu¹ and Christian Guzman. This trio will help to put up even more numbers for the 3rd best run scoring team in the A.L
• The Padres traded for Miguel Tejada as they looked to stay atop the N.L West and make a run into the playoffs:

• The Rockies Carlos Gonzalez left the best hit for last as he hit a walk off home run³ that completed the cycle.
